The Building Blocks of Universal Child Care
This free one-page, black and white printable zine is designed for child care educators to share with families and advocates to share in community spaces.
The Building Blocks of Universal Child Care zine is the first issue of an upcoming child care policy zine free library, which will seek to answer common questions and address problems with our child care system by proposing visionary, optimistic alternatives for the future we can build together.
The first zine, a black and white printable resource, offers a simple, sunny, motivating vision for universal child care.
This one-page zine introduces the concept of universal child care and encourages the reader to advocate for a better child care system.
It is perfect to print and hand out to the families you serve or leave in community spaces where families gather.
In an overwhelming digital landscape, millennials and gen z are seeking analog opportunities for connection and sharing. I'm developing a zine library to tackle some of the most commonly asked questions about child care policy while putting forward an optimistic future we can build together.
I'm hoping to spread far and wide by encouraging child care providers to print and share the zine with families, and advocates to share in community spaces.
You can find easy instructions for how to cut and fold a one page zine at this link.

My materials are always free, but any financial support you can provide will allow me to continue the work of helping advocacy feel relevant, attainable, and urgent.
If you would like me to adapt this zine for your organization by featuring your logo, changing the call to action QR code link, or making any modifications for a small fee, please don't hesitate to reach out!
I would love to partner with funders to produce future materials in this series and support translation to Spanish.
